Social Media in Plain English … buries the lead, but still worth watching

I generally like Lee Lefever’s “… in Plain English” short video series. And, while this one is thorough … it drags through the preamble, “amble” being the right way to describe what it does before it gets to the point.

Having effectively “buried the lead,” the video nevertheless gets better as it moves along. If you’ve got a few free minutes on a slow Friday, for example, it’s worth seeing it through for some pointers in explaining what is social media to friends and family.

Now, word of caution: If you’re going to use this newfound knowledge in conversation at your next cocktail party, don’t use the ice-cream example … try for exotic mixed drinks. Otherwise, your listeners may well leave you standing in the corner talking to yourself!
